KSC is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician (bilingual in Spanish preferred) to join our expanding OB/GYN department in a consultative, non-delivery role. The MFM will collaborate closely with generalists and mid-level providers, offering a full spectrum of consultative services—from same-day e-consults to comprehensive evaluations and ultrasound interpretations. Additional responsibilities include developing co-management pathways for high-risk conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple gestations. The position emphasizes expertise in obstetric ultrasound, with opportunities to lead ultrasound services, standardize protocols, credential sonographers, and maintain internal ownership of OB imaging. This role offers a unique leadership opportunity in advancing quality, efficiency, and integration of maternal-fetal care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- 50% Provide MFM consultative services for high-risk pregnancies, including same-day e-consults, formal evaluations, and defined co-management pathways (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, twins, previa)
- 20% Interpret and document fetal imaging and diagnostics; lead ultrasound services by developing protocols, credentialing sonographers, and ensuring internal OB ultrasound quality
- 5% Supervise and mentor medical staff, residents, and learners in MFM best practices and advanced imaging interpretation
- 15% Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and radiology (as needed) to ensure integrated care while retaining ownership of obstetric imaging
- 5% Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- 5% Maintain documentation, data quality, and regulatory compliance across all MFM services

Required Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of OB/GYN residency and MFM fellowship
- Valid Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of post-fellowship clinical experience
- Comfort with EMR systems (EPIC)
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,500 - $484,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
