ProHealth Physicians is seeking a PGY2/PGY3 Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Resident Physician to join our Primary Care Physician Pathways Program (a mentorship transition plan into Primary Care practice for post-residency). This is a compensated mentorship program.

Position Highlights
Mentorship from an experienced physician leader at ProHealth Physicians to support your transition from training into a full-time primary care physician role
Consistent check-ins via phone, virtually, or in-person with a minimum time-commitment (3 hr/mo) and a generous bi-weekly salary throughout your final year of residency training
Enhancement of experience throughout your final months of residency while eliminating the burden of job searching and finding the right place to start your career in primary care
Gain perspective on how to effectively operate and thrive within a value-based care model in a system that is driving population health initiatives
Grow exposure to the Quadruple Aim framework and various understandings of care settings offered at Optum: (Affordability, Quality Outcomes, Patient Satisfaction, and Clinician Well-Being)
Customize your experience. This individualized program will be completed at ProHealth Physicians facilities and/or virtually with deep exposure into primary care and working in the practice environment at ProHealth Physicians
Minimum Time-Commitment. A commitment of only a few hours per month (1-3 hrs) of which you are compensated for bi-weekly in addition to a post-resident primary care physician position

Required Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O.
- Must be transitioning into final year of residency or fellowship, or early into final year - PGY2 Resident Physician transitioning into PGY3 Resident Physician (Best Timing)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred candidate will be a local physician resident in Connecticut
- Would prefer candidates who plan to practice primary care in Connecticut
